Jangan berkongsi perasaan geram, marah, menyampah dan benci terhadap boss anda dengan rakan rakan sekerja walaupun yang baik dengan anda.
Sebaikmana pun rakan anda dengan anda, apa yang anda katakan boleh digunapakai untuk menjatuhkan anda di hari hadapan. Apatah lagi sekiranya anda meluahkan perasaan pada rakan yang mencari jalan supaya ketua unit sentiasa memandang tinggi terhadapnya, bukan anda sebaliknya. Keadaan menjadi teruk lagi sekiranya anda meluahkan perasan pada rakan yang sentiasa berfikir bahawa dialah pekerja contoh yang paling cekap dari orang lain, pandai dan berhak mendapat pujian / galakan.
Luahkan perasan geram itu pada rakan rakan yang tidak berada di dalam industri yang sama, atau pun paling baik, tulis sahaja pada catatan harian anda.
Jika anda berkongsi segala perasaan negatif terhadap boss anda, anda akan kelihatan seperti orang yang tidak berfikiran positif dan jauh ke hadapan. Rakan rakan anda mungkin menjadi boss anda atau pun anda akan menjadi boss mereka. Perkara yang sama akan berulang. Anda hanyalah membina tanggapan awal mereka mengenai tahap professionalisme anda.
Jika ada rakan sekerja yang meluahkan perasaan benci mereka terhadap boss di hadapan anda, senyum sahaja dan sabarkan mereka. Jangan beri tanggapan bahawa anda menyebelahi mana mana pihak. Kata kata seperti, “Saya pun akan berperasaan seperti awak sekiranya saya di tempat awak” adalah lebih baik dan selamat dari, “Saya pun hari itu menghadapi perkara yang sama”. Elakkan memberi cadangan kerana kebanyakan orang meluahkan perasaan hanya untuk didengari, bukan untuk dileteri atau dihukumi.
Sekiranya anda mengambil masa untuk berkongsi perasaan negatif ini, mungkin lebih kurang setengah jam dari waktu kerja anda akan terhabis dengan bercakap, bukan untuk melakukan kerja yang berkecekapan tinggi sebaliknya.
Berjumpalah boss anda sendiri sekiranya anda menghadapi masalah memahami arahannya. Atau pun buat audit secara terperinci mengenai cara anda bekerja atau pun berkomunikasi. Berkemungkinan, 50% dari kemarahan ketua anda berpunca dari anda.

About Nasha Aziz and the Man Called a Father
Nasha Aziz, the actress was sued RM10k by her biological father.
He sued her for the humiliation she caused him.
Apparently, Nasha was brought up by her uncle who is also named Aziz. When Aziz passed away, she cried over a question from a reporter and said she has lost her only Ayah.
The still-alive Aziz took it personally and further to the court, claiming that he will lose clients over his business of teaching the martial art.
He definitely is not aware that he has lost the daughter years ago. What matters to him is clearing his name from the ‘lies’. And a mere RM10k.
The defamation claim, he believes, shall ‘correct’ the perception of the public that he is NOT a liar. I am glad that he publicly and proudly tell people that he is not a Liar, that he is indeed a Good Man while silently defending the choice he made long time ago.
The choice of letting someone else wakes up in the middle of the night sponging the daughter’s hot feverish body instead of him. The choice not to see the first tooth that came out and the agony the baby is of teething. The choice not to see the first step his own daughter took and catching her when she first fell.
Whatever the reason a baby was given away when she was small, it is still the choice of the biological parents. Whether you were sympathy with the fact that your own sister can’t bear a child, whether it was poverty that you were afraid of while raising the beautiful baby, whether the attention and time can’t be spent on raising the baby correctly, these are all mere reasons.
If the biological parents tried to make up a few years later by taking the given-away child back to the family, nothing can beat the distance of the loss body warmth when the baby went to bed in her early two years.
If the biological parents tried to make up by showering her gifts or lavishing her with the most expensive wedding, nothing can beat the hugs that the baby lost every time she shivered with fright hearing the thunders.
And if the parents tried to show it to the public that it was actually the child who was a bad person, who was rudely kurang hajar, well, it is your dirty laundry, sir, hanging right in front of Padang Merdeka.
En Aziz, I hope the RM10k is enough for you to pay your lawyer. And your lawyer has definitely hung your dirty laundry long enough in the eyes of the public.
I hope you have a good answer when God ask you, what different is this Child to you that made you gave her away? What sin has this Child done that make you have the right to let her suffers through out her childhood and teens thinking of what is wrong with herself that made her parents gave her away? That make you have the right to let her feel inferior over her other biological siblings? That make you have the right to let her suppressed all the sadness and misery she felt of feeling ‘not wanted’?
I hope, as you have paid your lawyer hard money to prove the public, you don’t lie.

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has ordered actress-cum-model Nasha Aziz to pay her biological father Abdul Aziz Mohd Ali RM10,000 in general damages for defaming him.
Abdul Aziz Mohd Ali, 61, succeeded in his bid to get the court to enter judgement on Friday (yesterday) in a defamation suit against his daughter after the actress and her counsel, Rashid Mokhtar, were absent for the hearing of the suit on Wednesday.
In handing down his ruling, Justice Abdul Wahab Patail said the court accepted a father’s right to say that someone is his child, if it was true.
“Our society does not accept a person’s denial of the status of another person in the family if they are indeed family,” he said.
Abdul Aziz therefore had the right to call Nasha his daughter, he said, and if by doing so had caused others to look down on him and call him a liar, then it can be said that the plaintiff had been defamed.
“The court accepts that the plaintiff has proved that he had been defamed when the defendant said ‘I only have one father’,” he ruled.
He then ordered Nasha, whose real name is Noraishah Abdul Aziz, to pay Abdul Aziz RM10,000 in general damages with an 8% interest from March 31, 2005, when the suit was filed, until the matter has been disposed of.
Abdul Aziz, a silat (Malay martial arts) teacher and businessman, is Nasha’s biological father while her uncle, the late Abdul Aziz Hathim, was her “adoptive father.”
He filed the suit on March 31, 2005, claiming that the defamatory words published in Mingguan Malaysia on Oct 24, 2004, quoting Nasha as saying that she only had one father had embarrassed and tortured him.
He also named publisher Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd and its reporter Tengku Khalidah Tengku Bidin as defendants in the case.
In his statement of claim, Abdul Aziz said that the article Jangan Tanya Hal Peribadi (Don’t ask personal questions) contained defamatory words.
Previously, his lawyer M. Visva-nathan had submitted that the article implied his client was dead, but Nasha had contended that the plaintiff had given her to his sister, Habibah Mohd Ali, when she was three months old and that her husband, the late Abdul Aziz Hathim, was ayah (father) to her.

I heard so much about this guy but never get around to do much research.
And while I treasure and recently found more of his quotes are profound statements like,
Exaggeration is truth that has lost its temper.
A friend who is far away is sometimes much nearer than one who is at hand. Is not the mountain far more awe-inspiring and more clearly visible to one passing through the valley than to those who inhabit the mountain?
Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that faith is his twin brother.
Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need.
Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need.
I love you when you bow in your mosque, kneel in your temple, pray in your church. For you and I are sons of one religion, and it is the spirit.
If the grandfather of the grandfather of Jesus had known what was hidden within him, he would have stood humble and awe-struck before his soul.
If your heart is a volcano, how shall you expect flowers to bloom?
Sadness is but a wall between two gardens.
We choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them.
I also found a few that is hard to compromise :
If the other person injures you, you may forget the injury; but if you injure him you will always remember.
Most people who ask for advice from others have already resolved to act as it pleases them.
When we turn to one another for counsel we reduce the number of our enemies.
Kahlil Gibran is actually a Lebanese migrated to the States and a devoted Christian. I like to assume that he wrote most of his poem in Arabic since he called himself a Syrian nationalist and voted for the use of Arabic Language as the national language of Syria. (Syria? Lebanon? gosh I am so dark about that part of the world ..gotta learn more). He however died in a place all of us know by heart, New York.

At the Man's Office
Dear all,
Guess where I am?
At the Man's office. Yes, the Man, my dear husband who has one double lid eye.
The Man's unit shares the floor with another unit whom I think is doing nothing for the company. *Jahatkan aku ni*
Anyway, they are having a buka puasa do and I embraced myself to come (after the Man is invited and he invited me). Just an opportunity for me to get to know the people and what are they doing, actually , for the Company and the betterment of the people's lives in Malaysia.
I haven't figured out much yet.
But the head of the unit, eh tak de le head, the GM, is actually amazing. He is a Toastmaster (Bila la me and the Man nak start our Toastmaster). He acknowledged my Man's presence. Agaknya memang bagus lah this Toastmaster thing. Me and the Man ops sorry The Man and I have been trying to enrol for one and trying we have been for the past 8 years. Hehe.. trying and never really made a move.
Well, another good friend of us, Zul is also in that unit (which I still think does nothing for the company). Zul is apparently the most popular guy in our nets group (the group where we were first recruited by the company). He is doing good, and I am happy. Apparently he was chosen by the management to go for this GLC cross transfer program that will enable him to move to peroton and get new experience there, dengan gaji masih dibayar oleh companyku ini.
I wish to think positively that this cross transfer thing will benefit us.
So, I am out of the Man's nice room (with orange chairs and black leather couch, shit, better than mine) and to mingle around some more.
Oh yes.. tadi masa buka puasa, aku sorang je perempuan duduk di antara lelaki lelaki. Ini yang repeatedly I told people (esp those in melakofberehad) that I am SOOO reluctant to attend this department/ company buka puasa sebab nanti pompuan kena duduk ngan pompuan, laki kena duduk ngan laki. Abih tu, aku ni nak borak ngan sape? PA PA boss korang? Aghh!! And talk about what? Kalau the girls from Planning tu tak pe jugak, lots of things to bitch about.
Adakah aku yang antisocial?
Okay, out to mingle.

Management tips
What is a good absence and what is not?
A good absence is a paid leave away from the office rejuvenating one’s mind or spending quality time with the kids or parents.
What is a not-good abscene , then?
1. A leave taken to run away from problems or avoiding a big important meetings at work. A sign of irresponsibility and immaturity.
2. A leave taken leaving all the papers unsifted on the table. Your first day after the leave will be tougher with all the papers to sift and boss calling you for status report. Make a plan to reroute the letters and memo to you before you take leave.
3. A leave taken and leaving the colleagues finishing up jobs that you are supposed to finish with them having no clues of picking up where you have left. Good project manager will definitely establish of system of leaving the important files archived in a proper and friendly manner.
4. A leave taken to attend to your banking matters. You should play smart by using the internet banking or taking a lunch-break for that matter. If you foresee that the queues at the bank are overwhelming and killing your time, talk to your boss to see whether you can take a 10-oclock one hour break with a promise you will work through the designated lunch hour.
5. Monday, is definitely not a good day to pick up for leave, especially you are the Head of Unit whom to present your sale report and performance and new target on weekly staff meeting on Monday.
6. A leave taken with series of phone calls received from early morning until afternoon. It is definitely not refreshing for you to sip the drink by the beach side while taking all these calls from your clients. Make sure the important people know when are you taking leave and make a plan to reroute all the phone calls to your assistant. Less important calls should not be picked up rather messages shall be left so that you can return them once you are back in the office.

1. A leave taken to run away from problems or avoiding a big important meetings at work. A sign of irresponsibility and immaturity.
2. A leave taken leaving all the papers unsifted on the table. Your first day after the leave will be tougher with all the papers to sift and boss calling you for status report. Make a plan to reroute the letters and memo to you before you take leave.
3. A leave taken and leaving the colleagues finishing up jobs that you are supposed to finish with them having no clues of picking up where you have left. Good project manager will definitely establish of system of leaving the important files archived in a proper and friendly manner.
4. A leave taken to attend to your banking matters. You should play smart by using the internet banking or taking a lunch-break for that matter. If you foresee that the queues at the bank are overwhelming and killing your time, talk to your boss to see whether you can take a 10-oclock one hour break with a promise you will work through the designated lunch hour.
5. Monday, is definitely not a good day to pick up for leave, especially you are the Head of Unit whom to present your sale report and performance and new target on weekly staff meeting on Monday.
6. A leave taken with series of phone calls received from early morning until afternoon. It is definitely not refreshing for you to sip the drink by the beach side while taking all these calls from your clients. Make sure the important people know when are you taking leave and make a plan to reroute all the phone calls to your assistant. Less important calls should not be picked up rather messages shall be left so that you can return them once you are back in the office.

Gregory Colbert, what a fantastic man
The man behind the lens is Gregory Colbert. He’s also the subject in some of the photographs of this fifteen year-long journey. Colbert can be seen without a breathing apparatus swimming in rhythm with sperm whales. He believes that “nature is an incredible poem and animals are its living masterpieces.” Many in the Western world marvel at Colbert’s work and find it unimaginable that events like this actually take place within nature’s backdrop, but he does not manipulate his art in any way.
“Living with nature is pretty simple really. There’s nothing radical about it,” he says. “If I were to take the hill tribes to a city where there are all these humans, and only a few pigeons, and a dog and cat walking around, that would be unfathomable to them.” The fruits of his exploration led to Ashes and Snow - a multi-media phenomenon of photography, film, architecture, poetry and live installation. It is opening minds to explore what’s out there and eyes to see what’s possible. Sidney Portier said the exhibition is “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? with animals. They’re being invited to the table as equals.”
In 1992, Colbert set out to explore the relationship between man and animal from the inside out. He searched for civilizations that don’t view animals as “others.” He says, “There are cultures that survive or are able to exist only by having a very balanced coexistence with other animals, and those cultures tend to treat animals as equals.” He found such places during 46 expeditions and counting to India, Egypt, Myammar, Tonga, Sri Lanka, Namibia, Kenya, Antarctica and more. The work features Burmese monks, trance dancers, hills people, manatees, African wild dogs and caracals among others. Sometimes weeks go by in faraway mountains, jungles and deserts without a single image being taken, but Colbert is profoundly patient and always observant. In the end, he wins the trusts of all his subjects. He believes in the expression and artistic nature of animals and the intrinsic chemistry that’s possible if man and animal can spiritually connect. Colbert says, “My imagination has always been inspired by nature’s vision.”
Frustrated with the barren, white walls of most museums, and “the art that goes there to die,” Colbert wanted to create something original and organic. The idea behind the traveling museum, and the funds that made it possible, came during the first showing of Ashes and Snow in 2002 at the Venice Biennale’s Arsenale. It’s a vast shipyard that dates back to the Renaissance era. Colbert’s solo exhibit was the first to fill up the entire space, and required people to walk a mile from end to end to experience it all. The chairman of Rolex was so inspired by what he saw that he bought all of Colbert’s work on the spot. He encouraged him to use the money to think big, build something amazing and then share it with the world.
Colbert took it from there. He enlisted the help of Japanese avant-garde architect Shigeru Ban to help complete the vision. Ban designed the 56,000 square foot Nomadic Museum building. It is composed largely of recyclable and reusable materials. The walls are constructed from 152 used shipping containers. They are stacked in a checkerboard pattern to create rigid walls. Paper tubing constitutes the roof and columns. Inside, instrumental music guides visitors down a wooden walkway surrounded by 6,000 river stones. A handmade curtain made of one million pressed paper tea bags from Sri Lanka hangs from the ceiling and floats 40 feet from the floor. An hour long film documenting each expedition and the awe behind the photo shoots is projected on a large screen in a theatre section of the museum. Two short haiku films also play at each end of the gallery. The sepia-toned unframed photographs hang suspended in a dreamlike calmness from thin cables and rods. Each image is 11 x 8 feet and contains no text or explanation. Colbert won’t share much when it comes to artistic process and other secrets behind his magic. Instead he chooses to let observers get lost in their own fantasies. The intention is to share the experience of wonder, contemplation, serenity and hope.
More than one million people have experienced Ashes and Snow. After its opening in Venice, it traveled to New York in 2005 and on to Santa Monica in 2006. Currently it’s on its fourth leg at the water’s edge in Tokyo, Japan. “Tokyo is an ocean of concrete surrounded by a body of water,” Colbert says. “The sea is kind of an oasis.” The Japanese have embraced Ashes and Snow, and this leg of the exhibition is on pace to set attendance records. “The response from the visitors here in Japan is different from what we’ve seen anywhere else,” Colbert explains. “They are spending a lot more time. They are going slowly and nobody’s talking. You can hear a pin drop in there. The Japanese are very contemplative and have taken ownership of Ashes and Snow. Many exit the museum and spend some time just sitting outside thinking about it all. I often feel that when I’m in a place that moves me, I don’t need to talk about it. Even lovers when they’re making love - they don’t give you a play by play.”
He views himself as a storyteller, and throughout his travels he’s been able to see the best and worst of what civilization has done to the environment. His art paints one picture, but it’s just part of the story. His own voice is also incredibly powerful: “We’re at a turning point,” he says. “It’s not good morning global warming, it’s good evening global warming. Yes, we are very rich materially. We’re the richest generation, but did we really have the right - three billion years of nature’s evolution - to have this amazing material party, and then wake up and see this big mess of a party and then like an anorexic, not even recognize that we are starving?”

I simply never chose to cross that bridge.” As a result, he never distanced himself from them. His art can be seen as a poetic field study on the glory of nature and the problem with materialism. Ashes and Snow has no final destination. Gregory Colbert intends to spend the rest of his life providing a voice for animals and crusading to clean up the environment they share with us.

She later moved to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and assisted in eradicating oppressive, pro-pureblood laws. LOS ANGELES: A long school break has been kind to "Harry Potter."
After a two-year gap since the last film, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" opened with a whopping $58.2 million domestically in its first day, distributor Warner Bros. said Thursday.
"Half-Blood Prince" also conjured up $45.8 million in 33 other countries where it opened Wednesday, among them Great Britain, France, Germany, Australia and Japan.
That gave the film a worldwide total of $104 million.
Domestically, the movie had the best single-day haul yet for the franchise and the fourth-best daily gross ever, behind last year's "The Dark Knight" at $67.2 million, this summer's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" at $62 million and 2007's "Spider-Man 3" at $59.8 million.
"Half-Blood Prince" receipts include a record $22.2 million from midnight screenings alone, surpassing the previous high of $18.5 million for "The Dark Knight."
The sixth installment in the "Harry Potter" series had the second-highest debut ever for a movie opening on Wednesday.
It trailed only the "Transformers" sequel opening last month.
The new movie generally has gotten the best reviews yet among the big-screen adventures of teen wizard Harry (Daniel Radcliffe).
"Half-Blood Prince" has Harry struggling to pry a critical memory loose from a new Hogwarts teacher who possesses key information in the coming showdown between the young hero and the evil Lord Voldemort.
The two-year lag since the fifth movie, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," was the longest in the franchise's history.
"Order of the Phoenix" started with a $44.8 million opening day on a mid-July Wednesday in 2007 and went on to gross $139.7 million by the end of its first weekend.
The big launch for "Half-Blood Prince" could put it on track to pass that mark over its first five days.
The film also has a solid launch to challenge the franchise's all-time best earner, which remains 2001's original movie, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," with $975 million worldwide.
"It certainly gives us something to look forward to, but we have to take it one week at a time," said Dan Fellman, Warner Bros. head of distribution.
Warner has had great luck with mid-July debuts, opening "The Dark Knight" and "Order of the Phoenix" over the same weekends the last two years.
The studio has carved out that weekend again next summer with "Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan's follow-up, the sci-fi thriller "Inception," starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

the Half Blood Prince
We saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last Saturday.
Like the book, the fan will surely forgive for all the (many) shortcomings of this movie since it is preparing us for THE final battle at the Deathly Hallows.
Little details, like the name of the girls bumped at Supper, or spells that won’t work, or curtsies by any of the Teachers, will pop up at the end of the book at each of the book’s final battle. However, as for Half Blood Prince, the final battle is not stimulating, doesn’t make your hand stand. I am correct to say that there is no battle at all in this Half Blood Prince.
However, many things I re-discovered:
1. George and Fred’s Joke Shop is definitely fantastic, much more beautiful then what I have imagined when I read the book. You can just hear the laughter just by looking at the door.
2. Ginny is a grown up?! Our eyes were still on the cute, naïve girl but accepting the fact, anyway.
3. I thought Tonk and Lupin got married during summer?
4. I thought Tonk found Harry when he was ‘stupefied’ by Draco Malfoy in the train.
5. Since when Ron has biceps?
6. Hermione is as what I have always imagined; sweet, grown up, wiser, brilliant as always.
7. I thought Slughorn was supposed to be uglier.
8. Narcissa, Draco’s mother was supposed to look meaner and bitchier but she looked prettier in the movie.
9. I feel that the score was not appalling enough.
