No, Syclone, Miz Anoi is not a secretary, is actually an accounting graduate who was transferred here to do accounting work and then found out that there are so many messed up accounts inside the company’s account plus the conversion to ERMS. (Both then was done by AKO). Then gave up and asked Daddy to be re-located to another business unit doing readings, data compiling, news cut n paste and come out with own write-up from the cut n paste. MizAnoi but then request to still maintaining at least 5% of her job on finance so that if people like our current VP Finance comes and promotes everybody with Accounting background, she’ll still get that privilege.
Okay.. enuff of the introduction to you Syclone, thanks for asking.
Let’s hear what pissed me off early this morning! **Sorry le ngumpat sikit**
I asked MizAnoi to help creating some data into ERMS and copied the email to the boss who appraised her. I know that creating those datas will be hard since you have to liase closely with both Procurement (hi Viza!) and ERMS support team. Murali and I scratched our heads hard when we first started doing it. Nobody told us what to do. Totally in darkness! ERMS support team was saying another thing and Procurement was saying another thing. We basically have to pull out heads together and mooshy-mushroom with those two before things get done. There is this online approval thing that you must do with Procurement which they can easily erase if you don’t call them up first and mention what-what-what.
Then the boss came to see me. Called MizAnoi along to. Both sat next to me, saw me login the livewire to see what FORM to see, (smirked once or twice when the livewire was so slow) then gave direct line number for her to dial in case there’s problem, then taught on how to login to ERMS to see whether that particular vendors is already inside.
All my hard work was then taught within 7 minutes or so.
No networking needs to be done with the Procurement. Numbers of nice, helpful people have already been given. (whom I secretly handed in some nice Diaries and Thumb Drives as token of appreciations). What data to be filled up has been summarized in a nice Excel. Links to the livewire has been given.
Sleek!!!
You see, even AZ refuses to be spoon-fed at the age of 1 yr 5 mo.
**ERMS is basically a big Finance SAP system which drove me to nuts.**
BOS_SOB, I’m still considering on whether to blow this out to the Boss. But I am like 89% inclined of sucking things up.
