Yup, that's the fat lady singing that I'm gonna write about.
Went to this dinner show where she performed before the darling pop princess Siti Nurhaliza and boy, was she good!
Her voice is superb. Her jokes were appropriately funny and her spoken English is proper.
Then we bought her CD (for Ja) about three months after that titled, 'Terlalu Istimewa'. For a RM20, that's so cheap compared to the material inside. She executively produced her own albums with numbers produced mostly by Azlan Abu Hassan. And RM3 from her collection is donated to MAKNA, MERCY and Yayasan Sultanah Bahiyah.
When you read her acknowledgement, you'll see how humble this big lady is. I urged you to buy her album too, my favorite is the one played during Petronas Ad (Deepavali plus Raya), ikan di laut asam di darat where she kinda remixed it. Delicious!!
I hope Ja enjoyed her birthday present. (we bought Radja album and an Indonesian movie titled 17teen, ) . Don't ask, but i simply feel that Indo's production are much better than ours, don't you think so? Their romantic movies are simple but meaningful, ask whether our movie makers can beat so? Except for Sepet, some Afdlin's, the rest I personally feel are craps.

Ye ke? Haven't seen any of Prof Razak's work except the one Erra becomes fat. Think the script is lousy. However, what's with Malaysian movies when they dubbed the voices outside? Like typical Yusof Haslam's.
