Am back after five years off Chinese New Year and the long break was simply heavenly relaxing and entertaining.
Mak and the whole squad came over on Saturday and I brought them to Ikea. Apak was babbling about that wood, that piece, the structure, the resistance when it suddenly occured to my mind that he actually knew all this stuff! Didn't he go to that Teacher Training College who taught all about carpentry? Yes! How I forget. Mak was wailing behind us, the big store simply tiring her. Kesian. Alang and Yan wondered happily around the store. When we went down to Level 1, they spent more time that Apak decided to stop for hot MILO. We spent most of the time at the kitchen where all the utensils were.
Ikea was a nice place to see but I now think twice of buying anything. I went last week with the Man and bought an open folder kinda thing for office when I noticed that one of the plastic junction has came off. That needs change. Then I went again, together with Mak, (forgetting to bring that plastic folder), bought two stools for the small round table in the operation room where one stool was not equipped with the neccessary nuts and screws. Cess!!! You fooled me, Sweden what-so-eva! My new kitchen cabinet will surely WON'T come from the grand Ikea, thank you very much.
I, however, went down again to Ikea on Monday with Kak Endon and the kids and Azam Zikry. They simply loved the showroom, berangan of how their new house will look like. I let them be. Then, I got myself a compartment kinda thing to place all my scattered lippies, eye colors and stuffs. (Lesson learnt on Saturday diminished fast)
We went back to Bangi on Monday evening, spent a night there and we ate out at this nice place call Cafe 24 something. The setting was nice, traditional malay furniture but a bit sempit. People had to turn their butt sideways here and there. The food was nice, the JUICE was extra nice, I think.
Tuesday we went to see Papa's relative whose father had just passed away at somewhere Sentul. Then we went to the Mall (where Yaohan was, remember?) and the Man got himself a pair of Hush Puppies.
I came to office on Wednesday to prepare the trend of the quality analysis for the big meeting coming up next week. We sent AZ off to K Endon's then we went for our little date at Sunway Pyramid watching Buli Balik. The movie was hillarious, maybe the fact that we know some of the people made it even funnier. The Man was babbling about how it ended, that the ending was unclear to him but for me it was not important. The important is both Afdlin (Nordin) and Hans (Masron) were fighting AC Mizal at the end together, metaphored them fighting their evil side, Nordin's hatred to those who belittled and bullied him and Masron's evil twin the Bully and the hatred towards his own Dad. Sleek!! I like....!!
Yesterday, the first day at work was quite quiet and calm. I finished off the tender report, the Quality System Procedure for the spot tender then prepare some more for the big meeting.
Better write a birthday card for him now before starting work.
