My Company, that is a Government Linked Company, works very 1st and 3rd Saturdays. Recently, there is a rumor going on abolishing this working Saturday completely.

Now, let me think of the good things I see working on Saturday:

• I get to dress up in Jeans and Shirt since Saturday is a casual relaxing working day. This is the day to flash the new jeans or the attractive top!
• I get to see others in Jeans and shirt.
• Very very few calls come in, means I get to look at the planner and see what has been achieved, what else is to be done on certain project. I also get to clean up my table, organize and re organize some stuffs.
• We always sit down on Saturday to eat breakfast together in the conference room as a whole company and share a few laughters here and there.
• I get to drive to work relaxingly, without the jam and the traffic.

Of course, there are many things I can do on Saturdays instead:

• I get to go to dentist whom I haven't seen for almost 5 years!
• I get to spend more hours in bed, spend some time with kid and husband.
• I get to go back to in law's and probably to my hometown, too, back to my parents. Kid get to spend more time with his grand parents and do more of the bonding stuffs.
• Shopping! Catching up with friends! Movies!
• Of course a lot more stuffs that I do on weekends.

Of course I love weekends but I would miss all the stuffs I could do on Saturdays at work, without any interruptions. Where else can I find a day at work which is so relaxing, peaceful and fun?
